The Coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is impacting hundreds of thousands of people on a global scale.

Every member of the Hardware & General team sincerely hope that you, your family, extended relatives, friends and employees all stay healthy and emerge from these uncertain times stronger than ever.

We are here. We have been for 60 years and we intend to stay open for you. Our free delivery service has operated for 60 years and we are continuing to deliver free to sites all over Sydney. This service is for your convenience.

We know that we play an important role as your trusted advisor and preferred supplier ensuring you have access to the construction materials you require to keep your work sites moving.

We are well aware of the concerns about COVID-19 and the impact on the supply chain and the economy overall. We have been working with our suppliers and manufacturers since early February to ensure continuity of material supply. We are taking measures to offer you continual contact between our stores and your work sites.

There are many ways where we can help you slow the spread of the virus, avoid large shopping stores and continue your daily work onsite.

• You can place orders directly via phone or email and we will deliver to your site.
• Our phone lines have been repaired and are operating at full capacity.
• We have employed extra team members in our Customer Service Hub to receive your phone calls and emails.
• Our delivery fleet of vehicles continues to offer free next day delivery of stocked items directly to your site, and we've recently added vehicles.
• Our emergency Hot Water delivery service is geared to meet your demand coming into the winter months.
• If you are experiencing difficulties or illness please contact our Accounts Team early to discuss the situation.
• We provide a range of cleaning products, janitorial supplies and wipes to help keep your jobsite and home stocked.
• You can now submit items for quotes using our online Quote Request Form
• You can also place an order directly into store using our Order Form online.

We want to assure you that we are monitoring and acting on advice from health authorities and have measures in place to keep our employees and our customers as safe as possible.
